Hi

We have an application which uses ASP.Net webservices (.NET FW 1.1)
and WSE 2.0 SP3.

We are thinking of moving to WCF, but there are some aspects of the
migration which I am not able to understand.

MSDN has write-ups on "Migrating ASP.NET Web Services to WCF" and on
"Migrating WSE 3.0 Web Services to WCF", but there is nothing directly
available on Migrating WSE 2.0 to WCF.
Does that mean we first need to migrate to WSE 3.0 and then to WCF?

Additionally, the article on "Migrating ASP.NET Web Services to WCF"
talks about code changes which need to be done such as splitting the
web service into an interface definition and a class which implements
it. Where as the "Migrating WSE 3.0 Web Services to WCF" article only
talks about the security related aspects. It does not talk about the
changes to the webservice code itself. So it is a little confusing. Is
the migration of web services to WCF totally different from migration
of WSE to WCF?

Now if I have to move my .NET 1.1 + WSE 2.0 application to WCF, I
assume I would need to do both these tasks. Am I correct?
Is there anything additional that I would need to do?

Thanks
Shilpa
