The Application.Contents.RemoveAll() Method

Introduction

The Application.Contents.RemoveAll() method can be used to remove all items from an Application Object. It doesn’t take any parameters or return anything.

Example

<%

            ' Initialization

            Application("MyVar4") = "Item4"

            Application("MyVar3") = "Item3"

            Application("MyVar2") = "Item2"

            Application("MyVar1") = "Item1"

            ' Show all items before removing

            Response.Write "<b>Before Removing:</b><br/>"

            For Each Key in Application.Contents

                        Response.Write Key + " = " + Application(Key) + "<br/>"

            Next

            ' Remove All items

            Response.Write "<br/><b>Removing...</b><br/>"

            Application.Contents.RemoveAll()

            ' Show all items after removing

            Response.Write "<br/><b>After Removing:</b><br/>"

            For Each Key in Application.Contents

                        Response.Write Key + " = " + Application(Key) + "<br/>"

            Next

%>
