The Response.Write Method

Introduction

The Response.Write method can be used to write a string to HTTP output. It is very useful and mostly used to write out the content of variables. You can also use <%= … %> in HTML if you do not want to use Response.Write. The following example demonstrates both versions.

Example

<%

            Dim MyString

            MyString = "Hello world"

            Response.Write "From Response.Write: " & MyString

%>

<p>From HTML: <%=MyString%></p>

Output
