The Session.StaticObjects Collection

Introduction

The Session.StaticObjects collection stores all items, which has been added through the <Object> tag. This is mostly used to add the objects of components to the collection. Components can be also defined with the <object> tag. One of the known ASP components is the AdRotator component, which is used to rotate different advertisement images. Another known component is the ContentRotator component, which is used to rotate different strings. The <Object> tag is defined in a global.asa file outside of the <script> tag.
