What is EXSLT.NET?

Summary What is EXSLT.NET?

The EXSLT implementation contains a set of functions and modules which are missing in the current XSLT implementation. These functions are i.e the usage of regular expressions. The current XSLT implementation does not contain any solution for that. However the EXSLT implementation can handle them easily. An another missing function is Date Time. EXSLT contains a complete module with many functions to handle dates and times. Calling simply the function date:date-time from EXSLT will return the current date and time as a date/time string. Here is a list of available modules:
