The padding-top property (CSS Reference)

Introduction

The padding-top property can be used to define the top padding for an element.

inch (inches)

mm (millimeters)

pc (picas)

px (pixels)

pt (points)

percentage

This value can be used to define the padding with percentages. You have to use the percentage sign %.
