The text-transform property (CSS Reference)

Introduction

The text-transform property can be used to specify whether the text will appear in uppercase, lowercase or capitalize.

This value is used to transform the first char of each word in uppercase.

This can be used if you do not want use any transformation or if you want to make sure that no previous settings affects the current element.

lowercase

This value can be used to transform the complete text in lowercase.

uppercase

This value can be used to transform the complete text in uppercase.
