The word-spacing property (CSS Reference)

Introduction

The word-spacing property can be used to specify the width of the blank spaces between words. If you use a positive number then it will increase the blank width and a negative number will decrease the width.

Example

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"

     "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

<head><title>word-spacing demonstration</title>

<style type="text/css">

p.wordspacing

{

    word-spacing:40px;

}

</style>

</head>

<body>

<h1><p>word-spacing demonstration</p></h1>

<p class="wordspacing">This is some text with extra word-spacing</p>

</body>

</html>
