The Pseudo Class: active (CSS Reference)
Introduction
The pseudo class active can be used to specify the style of
an active link. There are also some pseudo classes related to the link tag.
These classes are: hover, link and visted. The hover class can be used to
specify the behavior when the mouse hovers over the link. The link class is
used to set the style for a link which isn’t visited before or which isn’t
active. The visited class is used to specify the behavior when the link is
already visited.
Example
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0
Strict//EN"
