The Pseudo Element: first-line (CSS Reference)
Introduction
The pseudo element first-line works the same as the
first-letter element. The difference is just that the first-line element can
change the style of the first line and first-letter can only change the first
letter of a word. If you have a sentence, which is spanned over more than 1
line, then it will still only affect the first line.
Example
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0
Strict//EN"
