The font-variant property (CSS Reference)

Introduction

The font-variant property can be used to set the font to use small caps or to use the normal font. Small caps means that the chars will look like in uppercase, however they are smaller. The following example will demonstrate this.

Example

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"

     "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

<head>

<style type="text/css">

p.normal

{

    font-variant:normal;

}

p.composed

{

    font-variant:small-caps;

}

</style>

<title>font-variant Demonstration</title>
