The outline-color property (CSS Reference)

Introduction

The outline-color property is used to define the color of the outline. As the name says an outline is a line drawn around an element to make it more noticeable for the user. 

Note: Please check if the browser you're targeting supports this property yet. Many don't, at the time of publishing.

Name:

Description:

color

The color can be defined in following three ways: (All three colors are red)

color name (red)

hex (#FF0000)
rgb (255,0,0)

invert

This value can be used if you want the inverted color of background to be used. This can be useful if you want to make sure that the element will be always standout from the background.
