The outline property (CSS Reference)

Introduction

The outline property can be used to specify the outline-color, outline-style and outline-width. An outline is a line around an element. This property can be very useful with the pseudo elements focus and active. It is mostly used to make the element more noticeable. Please see the appropriate section for more information about the other properties.

Note: Please check if the browser you're targeting supports this property yet. Many don't, at the time of publishing.

Example

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"

}

</style>
