BCE is Canada's largest communications company. Through its 28 million customer connections, BCE provides the most comprehensive and innovative suite of communication services to residential and business customers in Canada.

Currently, Sub-contractor services for underground structures, poles and buried cable (including tendering, inspection, payment and other management activities) are secured and managed by Expertech on Bell Canada’s behalf.

In light of these current processes Bell Canada determined there are advantages to repatriating these functions.   Consequently, Expertech will no longer be securing and managing sub-contractor services for Bell Canada Access jobs.

The recommended solution is to utilize existing PS ordering processes and functionality to secure and pay for sub-contractor services because this approach fully meets NP&P information and control requirements and conforms to existing NP&P provisioning processes.

However, system automation will need to be introduced where ever possible to minimize the additional manual effort associated with the repatriation of sub-contractor services management.

The work included:

·         Overall ownership of the project, lead and manage resources, co-ordinating between the onsite and offshore components.

·         Continuously drive the team for Quality and timelines.

·         Conduct Project Status and Performance meetings regularly.

·         Project Tracking.

·         Business expansion.
