Project Name: PIFRA, Pakistan Improvement of finical, Reporting and Auditing at auditor general of Pakistan (APRIL 2003 – SEPT 2006)

PROJECT Detail: The Project is financed by the World Bank with the objective to improve financial reporting and auditing of Pakistan with sufficient control over Budgeting. The modules implemented on the project, with total implementations planned at 125 sites across the country.

 

During this time, I worked on variety of roles on consulting and providing the Go live support and public sector implementation of SAP Sites at Auditor General of Pakistan and watching the helpdesk issues & providing solution to customer. I was also configuring the new requirement of this project and introducing new functionality.

I also keep contacted with ABAP Team for developing new programs, reports, & properly providing assistance regarding the understanding of tables, field & any other functional requirements etc.  With the new development I also proposed the solution of new developments. I am intensively involved in testing the new developments & prepare their user manuals.

 

Worked as a FICO/PS Consultant and Following are the areas of involvement in project:

 

·         Worked on Financial area i.e. (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliation, Auto Payment, Fixed Asset, Funds Management, and Banks)

·         Worked on Controlling area (cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, Profit Center Accounting)

·         Worked on Project system area i.e. (project builder, document management system, project planning board, WBS structure, Network Activities, planning, budgeting, settlement etc)

  • I Conduct Operation Acceptance Test (OAT) from users of every site as part of pre-go live activities

·         Worked as Site Manager for the implementation of two PIFRA SAP  sites i.e. District account office KASUR and  DAO RAWALPINDI and also work as key  team member for  providing the production support of DAO ABB0TTABAD, AGPR ISLAMABAD, DAO SWAT, AG LOHORE, DAO FAISLABAD. In all these sites the following activities are involved before productivity i.e. Understanding the current business processes mapping them into SAP, End user pre post Training,

  • I conduct the End User Pre Post Training at District Account Office ABBOTABAD, AGPR ISLAMABAD, DAO SWAT, and AG SIND.

·         I also involved in Configuration of SAP FI/CO (ver4.7c) when required like Account Payable, General ledger, banking, Overhead controlling etc.

·         I also involved in Configuration of SAP PS ECC6 when required like project version, project profile, Planner profile, user status at WBS and project definition level, etc.

·         Customizations and implementation includes the following areas i.e. Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Banking, Cost center Accounting, Profit center Accounting, Overhead Controlling, Project System, Funds/Commitment Management, treasury and budgeting

·         System Development in close Coordination with client for Funds Management (Budgeting)

·         Coordinate for Developing and Testing the Screen which is created by ABAPERS AND Catering the client Requirement. ·         Configuration of House bank and Bank reconciliation process.

·         Maintenances of Financial Statement Version to Serve Reporting

·         Creation and Maintenance of Vendor Account Groups

·         Preparation of user manuals.

·         Leading the Data Migration and implementation activities at following sites DAO ABBTABAD, AGPR ISLAMABAD, DAO SWAT, AG LOHORE, DAO FAISLABAD, AG SIND, and DAO FAISALABAD.
