I am working as a S.C.M Executive in Materials department.
Job responsibly which I handle in department are as given below.
Prepare overall stores plans using inputs from Head Materials Management and Internal Logistics and respective user groups (constitute cross-functional team)
Ensure that the quality of material received is as per pre-defined .
Inspection of all mechanical items like Valves, Pipe, and Fittings etc. Coordinate with vendor for quality related issue.
Formulate safety and preservation methods to ensure minimum wastage
Issue right quantity of material as per for processing and non processing areas
Maintaining adequate records for ensuring regulatory compliance
Ensuring filing of statutory returns and maintaining records
We have inventory models based on past consumption and Poisson distribution ,with help of this S.S,ROL,E.O.Q is maintained for S.K.U, further criticality (Moving ,Nonmoving, Insurable item) is decided by reviewing in detail with respect to Installed base/Stand by availability/Production loss /Service level and other factor.
Tool used for this is BIW for extracting past data and Simulation is the clear picture of S.K.U.
Cordinate for implimentation of SIX sigma project with respect to MRR-UD Cycle.
Annual Budgeting, Cost Reports & other reports as & when required by Company organization.
ISO 9001 documentation & its implementation in materials department. Internal Auditor for the organization.
I am reporting to G.M. & S.M. Material of the Company.
