Hi,

I tried to install BizTalk Messaging Adapter, but the installation aborted. The following is from the Error Log:

quote:

Install

An Error occurred attempting to set the Dependent Services. Details are as follows:

System.Resources.MissingManifestResourceException

(TRANSLATED from swedish)
Could not find any resources for the stated culture (or the neutral culture) in the current assembly. Check that BTSUtilsService.Resources.BTSUtilsService.resources has been imbedde or linked to to the assembly BTSUtilsService correctly.
(TRANSLATION ENDED)

baseName: BTSUtilsService.Resources.BTSUtilsService locationInfo: <null> resource file name: BTSUtilsService.Resources.BTSUtilsService.resources assembly: BTSUtilsService, Version=1.0.1436.27516, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null

at System.Resources.ResourceManager.GetString(String name, CultureInfo culture)

at BTSUtilsService.ProjectInstaller.Install(IDictionary stateSaver)

Configuration
Win 2000 (swedish version), SP 4
BizTalk Server 2004
MS .NET Framework 1.1
MDAC 2.7

Could the problem be that I use a swedish version of MS Win 2000?

If so, how do I correct this?

Hallo. I'm Pieter van der Merwe the author of the Adapter.

The Swedish part of the Operating System would definitely be the problem. We can easily build support in, if you can possibly supply us with the following information. We need the Swedish Counterparts of the following NT Services:

Windows Management Instrumentation
Event Log
Distributed Transaction Coordinator
Remote Procedure Call (RPC)

If you have a Swedish Version of BizTalk Server installed we would also require the name of the Service.

You can easily get these values from the Services MMC Snap-In on your BizTalk Server

We will then build this in for a specialized version of the BizTalk Utilities Version and have a new version ready for you by Monday.

Would this be okay?
