We are looking at using the Oracle Pipes adapter for communicating with our legacy host system. The system will send a message to an Oracle pipe and expect a response on a specified (dynamic) pipe. Can we either A) use dynamic send ports or B) use a macro of some sort on a static port to accomplish this?

The Adapter supports static ports as well as dynamic ports. With Dynamic ports you will simply set the properties cia the Property Schemas provided.

I thought that would be the case, but I couldn't find any reference to dynamic send ports in the documentation.

You can simply set the dynamic port uri to the pipes adapter and set the extra properties via the property schema.
