Is the Oracle polling receive adapter designed to re-connect to Oracle if it loses it connection? Currently if I kill the session from Oracle, the adapter continues to merrily poll away, with the now dud connection (erroring each time). Is their some setting somewhere that I can set to get it to automatically attempt a reconnection?

From further testing seems to reconnect ok if I forcibly disconnect the session, however with other Oracle errors, it will not renew the connection.

Which Provider are you currently using.

Also did you switch your connection Pooling on in the connection string?
