This is actually done inside Visual Studio when editing the schema. Is yours not appearing there?

Could you please tell me where exactly could i find it !!! I have checked all the properties for the <schema> node including that "Schema Editor Extension", It just opens up a new window with 3 extensions including : 1.BizTalk Utilities Adapter for Databases Transmit Schema Editor Extension 2.Flat File 3.Hws On selecting 1st one it doesn't do any thing, i need to get that wizard going again which i went through when i first added a new adapter into the project through "Add Generated Items" Thanks,

Once you select the BizTalk Utilities Adapter for Databases Transmit Schema Editor Extension, and you look at the properties for the root schema and request/response element there will be more properties with which you can edit the DB Schema.

thanks Pieter for a quick reply, well as you said i can infact see a few properties that helps me in changing the connection string and provider as well, but my concern was to change the table, i mean what if i need to add a table to that newly generated schema. Thanks.

This is unfortuantely a limirtation in the Adapter Framework and not the Adapter itself. When you add a table you would have to edit the schema by hand or regenerate the schema. I would recommend that you regenerate the schema. As long as the Namespace and Root Nodes are correct your maps will be preserved.
