Hi

We are using TopXML BTS2006 utilities adapter to insert data into DB2 (using oledb data providers)

We have  special characters in one of the db table column name (i.e """CU@CU""")

The schema generated  kept the column name as "CU_x0040_CU_x0023_"

But in the xml that we are trying to send when we send this xml element with same name i.e."CU_x0040_CU_x0023_"

we are getting the following error:

cause . . . . . :   """"CU@CU_X0023_""" is not a column of table *N in *N. If the table is *N, """CU@CU_X0023""" is not a column of any table or view that can be referenced. Recovery  . . . :   Do one of the following and try the request again: -- Ensure that the column and table names are specified correctly in the statement. -- If this is a SELECT statement, ensure that all the required tables were named in the FROM clause. -- If the column was intended to be a correlated reference, qualify the column name with correct table designator.

from this error ' we see that the _X0023 is not getting identified as the way other special character """@""" being identified.

BUT

When we change the xml content to "CU_x0040_CU_x0023" the record gets inserted , but the """CU@CU""" filed is empty in the inserted record.

What do we need to do in the xml to identify the # in the column name .

Any suggestions from similar experience are welcome.
