My previous thread (see "Property Schema Assemblies for adapter not currently deployed?") has gone unanswered for what appears to be the second day now, forcing me to troubleshoot on my own... I have found that when I remove all of the BizTalk libraries from the BizTalk Utilities installation folders and subsequently restart all host services and orchestrations, it has the effect of not causing any more errors. I also noticed that if I deleted the EnterpriseFramework files sitting in the BizTalk Utilities folder, Enterprise Framework errors and warnings start showing up in the Event Log. Also, after deleting files out of the folder, when I try to run the BizTalk Utilities MMC snapins, the MsiInstaller process (correctly) re-installs all missing files. What appears to solve my most immediate problems, so far, is the fact that the BizTalk libraries included with the installation appear to cause compatibility issues with my current BizTalk install. While some of the other included libraries, such as the PgSql driver, are a welcome addition to my library list, it's the BizTalk libraries that are throwing the corruption errors, the Pipeline exceptions, etc. Could you please configure your installation to exclude all of the files that come installed with BizTalk? Thanks, Lucas

Good Morning. Unfortunately the Assemblies cannot be removed. The Adapters are built using the Adapter Framework and these Assemblies are required. If we were to remove them the Adapter would not be able to install nor function properly. Do you have Service Pack 1 for BizTalk Server 2004 installed? Thanks in Advance

These assemblies show up in the GAC after BizTalk installation and should not have to be re-included with the adapters; your assemblies should be able to load them that way. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here...

You cannot tell an application nor an Adapter where to look for these assemblies, unless it is within a subfolder of where the application is installed. EIF requires that all the assemblies that it references is included within the GAC. Because we use EIF these assemblies need to be moved to the GAC, there is no other way around this. Have you managed to test the Adapter on a different machine yet?
