i'm having problems with the biztalk 2006 Sybase data adapter for which i can't seem to find any answers:

1. in the biztalk utilities adapter config editor, when configuring the Sybase adapter do i have to point tot the licence file?
When i point to the file which was sent to me by email, it gives me a 'file format is not valid' exception

2. I gacutil'd a ado.Net DLL (sybase.data.aseclient, version 1.1.329.0), which i point to at the biztalk utilities adapter config editor.
At configuring the 'Classes, translator' section, the config tool crashes. Always.
Default, al the classes point to a 1.1.327 version, and i can change all the classes, except the translator one.

in the definition of the receive location:
3. Do i have to give an entry at the 'client, application' section?

4. how can i check if the data provider in the biztalk utilities adapter config editor is correct

5. Is there a HelpFile for the Sybase adapter i missed?

1. The License Property here is for the Open Source Providers, you do not need to enter anything here.

2. Is this on BTS2006 or 2004?

3 + 4 + 5. Unfortunately there is no help file. The Sybase Provider is pretty difficult to get hold of and also poorly documented on the Sybae side.
