rdwalsh -> Temporary files not removed by POP3 activity (17 March 2004)

Is there a way to set BizTalk Utilities so that it removes the temporary files after checking POP3 email?

I have a POP3 recieve function set up that checks for new mail every 60 seconds. Yesterday it stopped picking up mail and would put an error in the event log each time it checked that hinted at an OS error when getting the attachment.

I discovered that I had reached the 65,536 maximum files in the BizTalk server's temp folder after less than 5 days of operation. I had 10 files in the inbox that were not being processed and have since removed them. A temp file is being created for each file in the inbox every time it checks for new mail.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hallo.

We have identified this as a bug a while back. It will be fixed with the new release which should be available in about 10 days time.

Cheers

This issue should be resolved with the new release that we have just posted on the TopXML website.
