mharne -> Invalid Connection String Error in BTSUA for SAP (7 April 2004)

Hi,

I am using BizTalk Utilities adaptor for SAP to make RFC
calls to SAP system. Adaptor works fine for RFC's with single IN-parameter but fails for multiple IN-parameters, following error message is logged in the event log:

quote:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: BTSUtils.SAP.Proxy.AIC
Event Category: None
Event ID: 0
Date: 4/7/2004
Time: 1:03:49 PM
User: N/A
Computer:
Description:
Execute

Invalidate connection string.
at SAP.Connector.SAPConnection.Open()
at SAP.Connector.SAPClient.RfcInvoke(String method, Object[] methodParamsIn)
at SAP.Connector.SAPClient.RollbackWork()
at BTSUtils.SAP.Base.Proxy.Caller.Execute(String Document, String Assembly, String Class, String Method, Boolean InputElements, Boolean OutputElements, String GUID, Boolean ExceptionNoRecordFound, Boolean StatefullBAPI)
at BTSUtils.SAP.Proxy.AIC.Execute(IDictionary Dictionary)

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Is there any way to debug this AIC call? or what could be the possible cause for this, thanks for your reply in advance!

Cheers!

Interisting one. It seems that the error says that you have an invalid Connection String. This means that there is something wrong with the Connection Settings on your SAP Destination.

Will it maybe be possible to export your SAP Destination to an XML File via the Administration Snap-In and mail it to btsutils@topxml.com?

It would also help if you could send us a sample of the document that you are submitting to the SAP Proxy AIC as well as the SAP Proxy.

We will have a look into this as soon as we receive the information.

Thanks in Advance.

Cheers

We have sent you a couple of mails regarding the problem that you are experiencing. It seems that the Rollback is actually hiding the original error message.

We will fix this as soon as we receive the proxy dll as requested in the mail that we sent you.
