The Business Analyst will need to have strong E-Commerce experience and also be strong in XML schemas as well.  They will be coordinating the implementation of electronic messages with external partners including the creation of overall timeline, and creation and ongoing maintenance of detailed specifications used for external roll-outs.  They will also be conducting internal testing across multiple applications and external testing with trading partners.  The candidate will also need to troubleshoot issues that may arise across a variety of applications (including external partner's systems)

REQUIRED:

-5+ years experience as a business analyst

-3+ years experience as an electronic commerce analyst with experience in defining electronic system to system transaction flows among trading partners

-Experience in defining standards for point to point and web service enabled XML transactions including the creation and/or interpretation of XML schemas. Candidate should be able to design schemas to not only meet the task at hand but include forethought into potential broader uses for other customer.

-Process-oriented and able to define new, agile electronic communications to meet changing business needs.

-This person will interact with external technical contacts and must possess excellent customer-service skills and have demonstrated polished and professional written and oral communications

STRONGLY PREFERRED:

-Able to coordinate the implementation of electronic messages with external partners including the creation of overall timeline, and creation and ongoing maintenance of detailed specifications used for external roll-outs

-Experience in conducting internal testing across multiple applications and external testing with trading partners

-Ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise across a variety of applications (including external partner's systems)

PREFERRED:

-Experience synchronizing reference data (such as customer and product ids) with external trading partners

-EDI ANSI X-12 experience helpful
