Software Design Engineer KE6317 KE6317 Washington-Seattle metro area MERIDIAN Technology Group is seeking a Software Design Engineer KE6317 with experience developing production quality code in a professional software engineering role. Must have experience developing server side applications in C++ or Java on NT or UNIX platforms. Must also have experience developing client side applications in HTML, DHTML, CSS and JavaScript. Experience with related technologies such as XML, XSL and SQL required. A strong drive to learn new internet technologies and a passion for building great software also required. You will design and implement powerful, highly scalable and reliable server applications. Translate functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs. Interact with Program Managers and Test Engineers to contribute to and review functional specifications and test cases. Resolve defects in your own and other’s code. Contribute to advancing the team’s design methodology and quality programming practices. BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred.
