Expert Business Analyst JW6499 JW6499 Oregon-Portland metro area MERIDIAN Technology Group is seeking a Expert Business Analyst JW6499 with strong business analysis experience. Must have information technology, data warehousing, data modeling and CA Erwin experience. Experience with Computer Associates Erwin, Teradata, SAP R/3 Material Management, Sales and Distribution, and SAP BW. Experience desired includes, logical data modeling; source system analysis; physical data modeling, including tables, primary keys, foreign keys, indexes, views, domains and datatypes; source-to-target mapping; business rules and definitions; data research and analysis; and SQL query writing. You will be responsible for the investigation, analysis and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes and the information they use. The definition of requirements for improving any aspect of the processes and systems. The creation of viable specifications in preparation for the construction of information systems. You will work with business to define business/product requirements. Work independently or on a team to interview end users of systems, collect requirements, develop use cases and work with application engineers to develop one or more business systems. Consult with business users to provide them with the knowledge needed to run their business. May include business or technical knowledge. May be asked to investigate and provide a solution to the problem at hand. Design, build and maintain enterprise conceptual, logical and physical multidimensional data models and data-marts that adhere to department standards, policies, procedures and industry best practices. Perform collection and detailed analysis of highly complex source data and evaluation of business requirements and translate these into sustainable and scaleable data model architecture. Collaborate with cross-divisional team leads, subject matter experts, bussiness users and development staff to develop data models. Identify and implement opportunities to improve the current data architecture.
