Eyeing SOA deployments, Webalo on Tuesday unveiled a Web service called "User Proxy," which is intended to provide a consistent user experience across Web services regardless of the device being used. Acting as a mediator between Web services and the end user, the software provides a proxy for end user interface devices such as PDAs, smart phones and notebook computers. Users are able to have a continuous "always on" presence, in which User Proxy accepts information on behalf of an offline user and then interacts with the user later.
