At last week?s Web Services Interoperability (WS-I.org) meeting in Salt Lake City, HR-XML hosted a Birds of a Feather (BOF) session on WSDL design (What is WSDL? See Part 1 of this series written by Chuck Allen). An increasing part of the HR-XML Consortium's work involves the development of model WSDL to support the most common web services scenarios related to HR-XML specifications. The BOF session in Salt Lake City was intended to garner reaction to Consortia-developed WSDL (HR-XML and other Consortia) and to gather information on emerging design patterns and best practices.
