Reminder: I'll be at San Diego .NET Developer Group Tomorrow Night

A reminder that I will be at the San Diego .NET Developer's Group tomorrow night to give my SOA with the WCF talk. I am very much looking forward to leaving the frigid tempertures here and having warm weather. The talk is one I have given many times this year but I have made some substantial refinements and additions. Look forward to seeing you there!

SOA Talk Abstract: The term SOA has become ubiquitous in our industry. Unfortunately that has lead to massive hype that makes it difficult to understand and distinguish the real value of adapting SOA principles. In my judgment, the definition suffers from technology centric views that are based on the technology environment currently in use. 

I will concentrate on the Design Patterns that distinguish Service Orientatation and how to apply them to your designs. Upon these principles, I will look at their real-world implementation in WCF ("Indigo") and then dive deeply into WCF, including a series of demos.
