Andrés has added his implementation of WS-ReliableMessaging to
Plumbwork Orange. W00t! With this specification (now) supported and the WS-Eventing
bits starting to (finally) feature a more reliable implementation, it can`t hurt to
start looking at what lies ahead for this project. Currently, the Plumbwork Orange
project provides support for the following specifications and custom transports:
-
WS-Compression
-
WS-Eventing
-
WS-Federation (sort of)
-
WS-ReliableMessaging
-
SOAP over SMTP
The next specification I wish to tackle is WS-Policy. Specifically, I`d like to implement
an object model for WS-Policy that can complement an implementation of WS-MetadataExchange.
In my opinion, it`s unfortunate that the WSE doesn`t feature a publicly-accessible
policy object model. Having one could allow WSE-based endpoints to process policy
(dynamically) when received from a request message. By the
way, looking for an implementation of WS-MetadataExchange Check out TexMex!
