ID

This one is my personal favorite.  I wrote it using the Kafka framework that I am building, but it does something different than the other examples.  The example relies on a document called database.xml, which contains the list of comic book characters and their secret identities.  The document id.xsl loads this XML document and performs a lookup in order to build the SOAP response.  All this without any code.  I love XSL.

Function GetSecretIdentity( codename as String ) as String

 GetSecretIdentity
Given the code name of a particular comic book character, the endpoint will return the secret identity of the character (ex. Superman = Clark Kent).
Namespace URI http://www.topxml.com/soapworkshop/services/id/
Definition (WSDL) id.xml
Sample VB Client (MS SOAP Toolkit) id.zip
Sample VBScript Client (PocketSOAP) ps.vbs
Server Code (ASP) asp.txt
Server Code (XSL) id.xsl
Database database.xml
