Overview
This class is used to retrieve exception information about
the last XML-related exception to occur. It can be incorporated into the
Try/Catch block of any routine that uses System.Xml classes. By adding a
separate Catch construct for XMLExceptions, you can insert exception handling
routines that deal specifically with XML parsing and processing runtime errors.
Example (VB.NET): How
to display error message information using XmlException.Source, XmlExcpetion.LineNumber,
and XmlException.Message properties.
The following code snippet can be used to supplement a
routine using System.Xml classes to process XML data. Insert this code within a
Try/Catch block, and raise an XML-related error to test it.
