Overview
In order for XmlDocument objects to share a NameTable, they
must be created within the same implementation context. The XmlImplementation
class can be used to establish this context.
Example (VB.NET): How
to compare two XmlElement nodes from different XmlDocument objects that share
the same NameTable.
In this example, we create two instances of the XmlDocument
class using the XmlImplementation.CreateDocument method. We then create an
XmlElement node for each document, assign it an InnerText value, and then
compare these values.
