The <optgroup> Tag (XHTML Reference)
Introduction
The <optgroup> tag is used in conjunction with the
<select> tag and it always resides nested in it. The main purpose of this
tag is to create a drop down list with titles. If you don’t use this tag, then
you will see a list without any headlines.
