The <pre> Tag (XHTML Reference)
Introduction
If you written code then you know how important formatting
can be. It makes the code easy to read. The <pre> (preformatted) tag can
be used to publish the code with all his spaces and tabs in a page. All spaces
and tabs you used will be shown to the user. The only thing that changes is the
font. It will show you a wider font, so that you recognize that this is a
pre-formatted text.
Example
<pre>
function ShowPRETag()
{
string
strMsg = "This is a pre formatted text."
document.write(strMsg)
}
</pre>
Output
