The <thead> Tag (XHTML Reference)
Introduction
This tag <thead> is used to define a table header in
the table. If you are using this tag you will also have to use the <tfoot>
for the footer and <tbody> for the body tag. This can be very useful if
you want to print long tables, because the header and footer will be shown on
each page. Remember that the <thead> must have a <tr> tag.
Example
<table border="1">
<thead>
<tr>
<th>User</th>
<th>EMail</th>
<th>Permission</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>Sonu</td>
<td>sonu@XXXX.com</td>
<td>Admin</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Mark</td>
<td>Mark@XXXX.com</td>
<td>Admin</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
<tfoot>
<tr>
<td
colspan="3"><b>2 Users found</b></td>
</tr>
<tr>
</tfoot>
</table>
