XML DOMCDATASection
The XMLDOMCDATASection object represents the content that is
inserted in your XML between the CDATA section brackets, ![... ]].
The XMLDOMCDATASection object inherits methods and properties
from the XMLDOMText object; therefore, you will find the
XMLDOMCDATASection object as a child Node of an XMLDOMText
object. The parent XMLDOMText object will parse the contents of
the CDATA section and return the full element text without the
brackets. (See the nodeType property later in this chapter for
more details on and examples of the CDATA section.)
This manuscript is an abridged version of a chapter from the
Manning
Publications book XMLProgramming with VB and ASP. This chapter
looks at the Microsoft DOM objects. NOTE: Most images have been
removed to increase speed and many of the code comments have also
been removed for presentation. Please purchase the book to enjoy
the full experience of all the chapters with images and code
comments!
