nextNode()
Is a member of:
XML DOM NodeList
XMLDOMNamedNodeMap
Syntax
set objXMLDOMNode = objXMLDOMNodeList.nextNode()
Remark
This method is used to iterate through either the collection
returned from child Node of an element (XMLDOMNodeList collection) or the
collection returned from the attributes property of an element
(XMLDOMNamedNodeMap
collection).
The pointer after returning either of these collections is set
to before the first Node in the list. Therefore, when you call
the nextNode() method for the first time, it returns the first
Node in the list.
As you iterate through this collection, NULL will be returned
when the current Node is the last Node or there are no items in
the list.
Example
In previous examples, we showed you a similar example of
iterating through the Nodes in an XMLDOMNodeList collection:
¬ Get a reference to the XMLDOMNodeList collection.
¬ Fetch the first Node.
¬ Prepare your loop, exiting once the last Node has been
fetched.
¬ Fetch the next Node.
