Function: string format-number ( number, string, string? )

Formats a numeric value into a formatted and localized string.
Parameters
Parameter 1: number
The numeric value to be represented.
Parameter 2: string
The format string that should be used for the formatting.
Parameter 3: string
Reference to a xsl:decimal-format element to indicate localisation parameters.
